Water when about 1" of the top soil is dry.
Either top water thoroughly then let the pot drain completely out or sit the pot in a watering tray or sink filled with water until the soil is completely saturated the remove it.

Tip: More Light = More Purple

The flower smells bad lol. Snipping the bud before it blooms is recommended. Snipping the bud leaves more energy for the plant to grow leaves and will extend the plants life.
